Upon his arrival at the airport near Fatima, Pope Francis immediately descended into the crowd that had gathered to meet him, shaking hands with everyone around him. Three children in the front row held copies of the book Querido Papa Francisco (published by the FSPs of Portugal last year), which they asked him to autograph.
The children’s mother, in a letter to the editor, expressed her joy and gratitude, saying that “the Pope has the power to transform and convert our hearts!”
