From 21-24 June, amateurs and professionals, bands, groups, DJs and choirs all took part in Rome’s 2018 Music Festival, held in many different parts of the city to celebrate the summer solstice. The event was promoted by the city of Rome’s Cultural Growth Department in partnership with the Zètema Cultural Project.

The program included a full calendar of events organized by public and private institutions such as academies, embassies, libraries, senior citizen centers, schools, prisons, book stores, theaters, cultural institutes, hospitals, local sports centers and clubs.

Launched in France in 1982, the Festival was created to allow music to invade city streets from their outskirts to their centers and welcome the summer season.
