On 20 May 2018, the FSP community of Via Antonino Pio, Rome gathered around Sr. Bianca Calenti and a large group of her relatives to celebrate her 100th birthday.

The day opened with a joyful Eucharistic Celebration of thanksgiving and then continued in this spirit, with the enthusiastic participation of everyone. A special lunch, enriched by songs, other entertainment and the affectionate presence of Sr. Bianca’s family and her community, all blended together to make the day an occasion of unanimous gratitude to God for our sister, who was blessed to participate in the development of the Congregation, to know the Founder and Maestra Thecla and who now carries many beautiful memories of them and of her Pauline life in her heart.

Sr. Dolores Melis, Provincial Superior, concluded the festivities by offering Sr. Bianca the best wishes of all the Daughters of St. Paul. “Thank you, Sr. Bianca,” she said, “for your many precious years of intense Pauline life! Please continue to tell us that what matters is to remain in Jesus and to witness his love, above all through coherence of life. May the Lord sustain you with his goodness and kindness and may you continue to be a little seed that, through your prayers and self-offering, contributes to fertilizing the apostolic action of the sisters of our Province and throughout the world. Our heartfelt best wishes to you!”
