From 1-23 December 2017 the FSP book centers in Italy will be holding the fourth edition of their annual Book Bank. This year the Daughters of St. Paul are collaborating with AVO (Association of Volunteer Hospitals), a non-profit organization made up of many different hospital volunteer groups. The recipients of this year’s book campaign will be the children or the pediatric wards of hospitals in the cities in which the FSPs have book centers.
The initiative was presented at Holy Spirit Hospital, Rome on 20 November 2017. On that occasion, the President of Paoline Onlus (an FSP Non-Profit Organization) presented the AVO representative with a package of free books to use to restock the hospital library or else to distribute among the hospital’s patients.
