To give more thrust and attention to World Communications Day, the FSPs and SSPs of Italy organize an annual Communications Week and Festival. The 12th edition of this event will be held in the diocese of Cesena-Sarsina this year.
Taking as a point of departure the title of the Pope’s Message for WCD 2017: “Fear not, for I am with you” (Is. 43:5): Communicating Hope and Trust in Our Time, the team organizing the initiative created a poster displaying a lighthouse, a virtual image of the world and a sailboat–a combination to convey the idea that if a person wants to move ahead at maximum potential (with unfurled sails), then he/she must advance in the light, with a gaze fixed on the contemporary situation, which is characterized by interconnected relationships and today’s new technologies.
