KOREA
Collective Summer Diffusion

Every year, our sisters of Korea carry out a month-long missionary experience in the sphere of collective diffusion. This year, ten sisters and three novices visited the diocese of Masan, located in the southern part of the country. It is a relatively small diocese of about 175,300 people, divided into 73 parishes. Our sisters chose to center their apostolic efforts here because we do not have a Pauline community in this diocese.

During this “missionary month,” the apostolic team visited not only the parishes but also other collectivities such as families, schools, hospitals and prisons. They also conducted retreats and put on religious performances and puppet shows. Book displays, which they held wherever they went, gave the sisters the chance to meet Christians, Buddhists and non-believers.
