The Daughters of St. Paul of our Congo–Ivory Coast Delegation recently organized a biblical animation in the Archdiocese of Lubumbashi. This activity has by now become a tradition aimed at deeper reflection on the Holy Scriptures and promotion of the African Bible.

This year, the event was held in the month of May on the theme proposed by the National Episcopal Conference of the Congo: “Being Disciples of Jesus in the Gospels.” Many people participated in the encounter, including leaders of basic Christian communities and members of various Protestant groups.

Fr. Bernard Numbi, who guided the session, developed the theme in four parts, taking as his starting point the four Gospels.

Our sisters rejoiced to see how interested the participants were in the Word of God and its message.
