The parish of Brno, Prague recently joined forces with some of its neighboring parishes to hold ?Bible 24?: the public, continual reading of the New Testament over a period of 24 hours as a concretization of Is. 62:6: ?All day and all night [your sentinels] will never be silent.

?The Daughters of St. Paul were actively in involved in the long preparation for this extraordinary event, which they presented to the public through the local media. They also helped to enrich the initiative by guiding a biblical hour of adoration, reading some of the Scripture passages, and holding an exhibit of Bibles and Bible-related material.

The enthusiastic response of the public to this project showed that people today are very interested in the Word of God and want to savor its beauty and power.
