To celebrate the Mass of thanksgiving in honor of the 40th anniversary of the foundation of Ut Unum Sint, the Daughters of St. Paul invited Bishop Giobbe Koo Yobi together with teachers, benefactors, collaborators and students.

With the motto That all may be one, Ut Unum Sint was founded in 1978 as an answer to the requests of Christians hungry for the Word of God, in line with the ecumenical intentions of Catholics and Protestants who had already collaborated in the publication of the Korean Bible in 1977. The introductory course on the New Testament began in the spring of 1979 with the help of various bishops and priests.

To meet a society in rapid evolution, the online course was launched in 2000. In 2001, with the title The Bible for rebirth, a course for seniors was opened which continues in the dioceses of Seoul, Daejeon, Daegu, Gwangju, Incheon, Woolsan and Andong.

In 2011 the study of the Cyber Bible began with e-learning.

There are currently 3,500 Korean students, in 17 countries, who study the Bible through correspondence and e-learning.
