To celebrate the Year of Faith, the Daughters of St. Paul of Chile have inaugurated a new apostolic center in Talcahuano , situated on Conception Bay in the Biobio region. Located in a busy mall between two parishes and close to the region’s main school, the new Pauline Book Center hopes to be a locus for light, hope and evangelization. Apostolic Nuncio Adolfo Tito presided over the blessing ceremony, which was attended by many members of the Pauline Family, members of other religious Institutes, friends of the sisters and journalists. Also present for the occasion was the Congo’s Minister for Culture and the Arts, who was invited to cut the ribbon looped across the entrance to the book center.
